Special issue of Symmetry call for papers from ICNAAM 2019
The 17th international Conference of Numerical Analysis and Applied Mathematics (ICNAAM 2019) will take place in Rhodes, Greece, on 23–28 September 2019. ICNAAM provides an international meeting point to share and discuss the latest research and knowledge in numerical analysis and applied mathematics. It aims to bring together computational and applied mathematicians across the globe, including researchers at the early stages of their careers and others who are very well-known in their field. With the fast development of computational sciences and engineering, ICNAAM has witnessed an exponential growth of mathematical sciences and an unprecedentedly broad range of real-life applications of mathematics and numerical analysis.
Symmetry (https://www.mdpi.com/journal/symmetry) announces an open call for quality papers devoted to selected full papers from ICNAAM 2019. All contributing authors from ICNAAM 2019 are invited to submit a full paper version of their short paper accepted and presented during ICNAAM 2019.

Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, all manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. Symmetry is an international peer-reviewed open access monthly journal published by MDPI.

Review process
Once a manuscript passes the initial checks, it will be assigned to at least two independent experts for peer-review. A single-blind review is applied, where authors' identities are known to reviewers. Peer review comments are confidential and will only be disclosed with the express agreement of the reviewer. Manuscripts are peer-reviewed and a first decision provided to authors approximately 14.2 days after submission; acceptance to publication is undertaken in 5.8 days (median values for papers published in this journal in the second half of 2018).
