As a physical participant of the conference, you are already entitled to this central excursion free of charge, included with your registration.

For each accompanying person, there will be an additional cost of €50 per seat.

‘Agios Nikolaos’ Town & ‘Kritsa’ Traditional Village

The town of ‘Agios Nikolaos’ is the capital of Lasithi prefecture in East Crete. The vivid and popular town has a cosmopolitan atmosphere, stroll through with the numerus beautiful little shops or just relax on a café or restaurant next to the picturesque bottomless lake of Voulismeni that according to the Myth goddess Athena is said to have bathed there. Walk along the beautiful waterfront that overlooks the deep blue gulf of Mirabello — Agios Nikolaos is full of little discoveries!

Next, we head to the traditional village of ‘Kritsa’. Here you can step back in time on a characteristic Cretan village that has remained unchanged. Explore the village with its small white houses and quaint colorful narrow streets, friendly locals and small welcoming shops with traditional local products, cafes and taverns.
